WSOPE 2008 HORSE £2,500 Event
Daniel Negreanu is a huge fan of the HORSE tournaments which feature a mixture of popular poker game variants, players who do well at HORSE at regularly noted to be the most proficient and talented players around. A field of 110 players paid the £2,500 entry fee at the Empire Casino in London, Daniel managed to finish in 14th place and win a cash prize of £5,500. He faced tough competition though, other notable players who did well in this tournament included Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, Howard Lederer and David Williams who all finished in the money.
This HORSE tournament was eventually won by the relative newcomer but rising star from Kabul, Sherkhan Farnood.
